Artist's Comments
This was a collase practise made for fashion illustrations lessons. I had a referance picture which was a picture from British VOGUE September edition and it was a dress by Roberto Cavalli. (I don't claim to own the idea of the dress). Our task was to visualize a feeling we got from the cloth we had chosen for a referance.
This collase was made by first drawing the cloth and the figure. Then I stiched the dress full of needles. Then took a picture of it and continued working with it in Photoshop, Painter and Paint Shop Pro. The right one doesn't look as good as I hope since the effect I used for making the sparkles looks really cheap... I think... and that was not the intention. But well, now it is as it is... |
